FIELD TRIPS
For Field Trip Reservations please call Museum at 863-687-3869.

  • Groups of ten or more $7/person reduced fee with reservation
  • Two hours of Museum exploration during regular operating hours Mon-Sat 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Teachers/employees FREE
  • Teachers receive 10% store discount
  • Museum requires 1 adult: 5 children for safety/ease of exploration.
  • Museum exhibits, programs, and workshops meet Sunshine State Standards in the areas of
  • Science, Math, Social Studies, and Language.

 


FIELD TRIP WORKSHOPS

  • Workshops may be added to any field trip
  • 30 minute workshops $12/student.  Includes admission.
  • 60 minute workshops $15/student.  Includes admission.

EXHIBIT IN A TRUNK

Take a piece of the Museum to your classroom! Trunks are filled with books, artifacts, games and other hands-on activities and resources to use with pre-K -5th grade students. One week rental is free of charge to classroom teachers. Five Senses and Asia are pre-filled trunks. Other areas of interest may be available upon request. Reservation and damage deposit required.

SCHOOL BASED PROGRAMS

Can’t come to the Museum? We may be able to come to you! Field Trip workshops are transportable! Low class/per student fee.

Community grant-funded programs are sometimes available for class field trips/workshops for designated areas/populations. Call the Education Department for details.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

 

The Museum welcomes volunteers of all ages! (However, we do not accept court-ordered community service hours.) Volunteers must complete an application, include 3 reference letters, and attend a Museum orientation before working in the Museum.
