Front Yard Jr. is an exciting partnership to porotype and test exhibit components, programs, and outcomes for the new facility at Bonnet Springs Park. In this exhibit:
- Dig for local bugs, reptiles, and amphibians in the dig pit
- Learn how much water is in a gallon and how much water you use in a day
- Pretend to picnic for the day and learn how to keep animals safe
- Make it “rain” in the interactive water cycle wall
- And more!
This new exhibit will open March 2021 and run through the closing of the Kress building location. Special programs will run in the gallery.
Front Yard Jr. and all of its affiliate programs are part of the Museum’s COVID-19 SAFE + KIND policy. No fabric costumes will be on display, materials are chosen to sustain frequent and up to hourly sanitization, masks for ages 8+ are required for exploration, and staff are practicing social distancing when delivering educational content.
